I have a background as a musician, writer, and I am a renter. I've lived in Burlington for 15 years and love our community. I began my political life when I was 16, advocating to abolish the death penalty and have attended demonstrations and spoken out as an anti-racist activist since then. I am the only person running for sheriff in Vermont who advocates to abolish Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
I’ve also run a small business in downtown Burlington since 2018. It's a music studio with razor thin margins and we've managed to survive through the pandemic which was no small feat.
I also love to garden and grow chili peppers with my cat Felix Double~Helix.
With your vote, I will be the first openly transgender person to be an elected sheriff in the history of America.
